The Congress will be held from October 28th to 30th, 2020 at Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, and represents for the veterinary profession an extraordinary opportunity to advance towards a comprehensive vision of the profession. This event will favor the opening of better and greater possibilities of scientific, academic, commercial and social exchange between professionals from all over the American Continent, as well as from the institutions in which veterinary doctors operate.
The Congress is organized simultaneously in a scientific program, exhibitions of veterinary and livestock products and services, a cultural program, social and sports activities; all of them designed to provide opportunities for the exchange of professional and social experiences, which provide an opportunity to promote cooperation and friendship between veterinarians from the Continent.

The Pan American Association of Veterinary Sciences (PANVET) was formally founded in 1992 with legal headquarters in Santiago de Chile, PANVET is the leading Association on the continent that brings together national representative organizations, and that with them defines union policies, innovations and recommendations for maintain leadership of the Veterinary Medical profession.
The main objectives of PANVET are: maintain and consolidate its position as the only Association representing organized Veterinary Medicine on the American Continent; strengthen the quality of veterinary education in the faculties and schools of the Continent; develop policies of interest to the profession and society, related to the sciences and the veterinary profession; promoting and disseminating research activities in the veterinary sciences through various means; provide advice to governments, Member Organizations, and society in general in the various areas of veterinary science; and generate recommendations on various topics related to veterinary science that are useful to society in general.
